Richmond star Shai Bolton remains off-contract for next season and his manager Ralph Carr says the young Tiger is in no rush to re-sign with the club.
Bolton has starred for the Tigers this season averaging 21.8 disposals and five clearances per match as his value continues to soar.
The 22-year-old finished fourth in Richmond’s best and fairest last year and also became a dual premiership player.
Carr says Bolton will likely decide on his future at the end of the season.
“Shai was keen to look at the deal at the end of the year and talk about it throughout the year,” Carr told 3AW.
“We’re just sitting back. No need to rush.”
Bolton was one of Richmond’s best in Saturday night’s 34-point loss to Melbourne, finishing with 28 touches, four clearances, four tackles and a goal.
The in-form midfielder was drafted out of WAFL club South Fremantle.
