Richmond’s VFL side will open its 2019 campaign with a Friday night match against Geelong at GMHBA Stadium on April 5 at 7.30pm.

The 2019 fixture was announced today for the newly named Hard Yakka / Totally Workwear VFL, with the Tigers scheduled to play seven home games at the Swinburne Centre and one at Holm Park, Beaconsfield.

As the centrepiece of the Sir Doug Nicholls Round in 2019, there will be a Richmond v Essendon triple header, with the VFL, VFLW and AFL teams all playing within the precinct on Saturday May 25. The VFL and VFLW sides will meet at the Swinburne Centre before the headline Dreamtime at the ‘G match.

The Tigers will play their first home game in Round 2, when they host Port Melbourne on Saturday, April 13 at 11.00am at the Swinburne Centre.

This will be followed by Richmond’s first bye of the season in Round 3.
