The Tigers are heading down to Ikon Park to play another traditional rival in Carlton.

After putting some good passages of play together and dominating the last quarter last week, I'm looking forward to seeing how the girls approach this week's game against a team that probably would have played off in the Grand Final last year.

We've named an unchanged side which will allow the girls to get some confidence in each other and hopefully be able to finish off their good work.

The highlight of the game for me will be watching the Hosking twins play against each other for the first time. I've been following their antics on Instagram during the week as they played pranks on each other. They certainly had some fun with Sarah freezing Jess' Carlton pass and mouthguard in a huge ice block to start the hostilities. The pranks even escalated to Sarah rubbing deep heat onto the toilet paper before Jess had to pay a visit. Here's hoping that Sarah continues this form into the game!

You can see the selected team, results, match stats, and video highlights here on the game hub.

Quarter time and the Tigers are continuing their form from last week's last quarter. Their play is cohesive and their ball handling is much better. Hard running and hard tackling putting pressure on the blues. There's still a long way to go, but it's a good start which should boost their confidence.

Blues: 0.2.2

Tigers: 3.0.18

Goals: Wakefield 2, Stahl 1

As expected, the Blues came back at us that quarter outscoring the Tigers 3 goals to 1. Sarah Hosking had to leave the field for a concussion test after a heavy tackle by Maddy Prespakis. Thankfully, she's been cleared to play so will take the field again.

Blues: 4.2.26

Tigers: 4.1.25

Goals: Wakefield 2, Stahl 1, Brennan 1

Tigers had the advantage in field play but got outscored that quarter. Vescio kicked 3 for the Blues that quarter and her forward play was the difference. Blues lead by 14 points.

Blues: 7.3.45

Tigers: 5.1.31

Goals: Wakefield, Brennan 2, Stahl 1

Hardly fought last quarter but the Tigers were 5 points short. Game style looked pretty good and is improving. Lots to like, but didn't get the win.

Blues: 8.3.51
Tigers: 7.4.46

Goals: Wakefield 3, Brennan Stahl 2
