Haha ! Just one in a long list of decisions that beggared belief around that time in Tiger history. Thankfully The Melbourne FC took over the mantle of most mismanaged club in the league but Gold Coast and Brisbane are hot on their heels now.

From memory that's true but there's no doubt the chicken came well before the egg on that occasion Vossy.

Patrick Naish at this stage ,looks very likely to be a tiger.
He is rated in the top 30 for his age bracket,in the country .

Would be great if the others also show a lot

Yes,his next son Xavier is not eligible till around 2020,same as Maurice Jnr,if good enough.
There's also another son Charlie, quite a few year's away yet.

Would love a decent f/s at 193-197 cm at the moment

@Jools is athletic (if you can call hockey athletic) so I reckon she should lurk around a certain pub in Brighton...get the job done for your club!

Just an update, patrick naish is trying out for the u18 vic metro,so his progression for a bottom aged player is good, also Josh Broderick played his first u18 tac match on the weekend, slick hands like his father .

Best news we've had in a while Col. I'd love to see both make it onto our list, they both have fine pedigrees! :)

It will be interesting to see how Broderick progresses ,l believe he won the Northern knights combine testing, which is a before season thing, all tac clubs do.
He won the handball testing ,as well as the 20 mt spring, and agility testing.
2017 might end up set for the recruiters

I presume you meant sprint ? A shame really coz a kid with a 20 meter spring would be pretty handy hey ?

Regardless , if the lad won the 20 meter sprint then his mum must've been an Olympic sprinter coz Brodders was as slow as treacle.

Anyhow , thanks for the updates mate. Much appreciated.

It's great info that you give us on here and considering the current state of the tiges i'm sure Y&Bers are hanging on anything positive you can give us regarding father/sons and TAC kids.

When you look at Geelong's dynasty and now what the Bulldogs are doing it seems good father/sons can make a massive difference.

You got any more on Lambert's kids yet ??

Billy lambert ,who is eligible for this years draft,is playing with Brisbane lions reserves ,lm not sure how he is going,or if he's eligible for any state champs teams QLD/NSW.

I guess he will be learning a lot,but those shifty barstards up there, will be trying to play him down l bet

Just on all the lambert boys, they are all now part of the Brisbane Lions academies ,l didn't think you could jump that quickly to another academy, but obviously you can

I'm actually beginning to wonder/worry whether Lambert will choose to come to us. Craig posts some pretty passionate messages on Twitter about the Lions and the only confirmation that the kid wants to come to us is from a year or two ago. He is now in the Lion's academy...

@colossus You've got me, who is Maurice Jnr, surely it is not the one and only, late great Maurice you are referring to?

Yay, Broders was one of our better mature age pick ups, smooth as silk. Fingers crossed young Josh has dad's best genes plus some more.
