    lol semantics

Cameron was one of their 17 year olds recruited in 2011.

GWS had no choice but to hide him away as they did not play their first AFL game until 2012 and Cameron was in that team. He was aged 18 almost 19 at the time.

Pretty sure Jack didn't play seniors from the start I remember Wallace used to say this kid keeps beating down his door asking for a game.

I think you're being a bit hard on the kid
I don't get how you were saying McIntosh just needs time yet he's an onballer and yet Schache should be kicking arse from day 1 ??

Jack played 8 games in his first season... and showed more in those 8 than Schacheacheyachey has so far. And he was in a crap team too.
Pretty much has played every game he was available since.

You are taking the McIntosh comment out of context ...

If the club is desperate for Schache and are willing to give up a 1st and a player then I'd be happy enough to give up Brandon Ellis and then take Rockliff as a free agent. He's a bull and a hardnut. Would release Cotchin to play more outside and Ellis is weak as piss.

Fagan just gave a spray on how ridiculous it is for top draft picks to be leaving and calls for first round picks to get 3-4 year contracts on signing so they cant leave.
Claims that has nothing to do with Schache just his thoughts

My thoughts - that means Schache is leaving but to whom

The draft is inherently flawed in that it is just too much for kids - and they are kids - to potentially be taken from being anywhere close to their support networks.

Sure, some may be more adaptable than others. But I completely understand if a kid doesn't want to be spirited off from Melbourne to Brisbane. I'm surprised that there isn't more consideration of homesickness in a lot of drafting.

    Muse!

Schache, as D King just said on SEN has shown nothing as yet, cant believe I'm agreeing with him, but he said it, as I was about to type in this post!
Hipwood by comparison is hungry and energetic, he wants the ball.
Dont care if his jnr team mates didnt like him, they were in a competitive environment battling to be drafted.
Schache is not the player we should target.

Yet but maybe he will. If he is unhappy or homesick he won't be playing to potential.

It's true, you're talking about a kid who lost his dad then few years later dragged away from the rest of the family, he was drafted at 2 for a reason and has talent

    We need a marking forward.

Even Casbolt would have been handy tonight.

So what then is the base criteria you use to validate a trade for him? His under age form from 2 yrs ago??.
The upcoming draft apparently has some pretty good talls in it, I wouldn't be looking at handing over first round picks for a kid who hasn't lived up to expectations ..

He should be hell bent on impressing to guarantee a trade .. Needs to show a fair bit between now and end of the season..
