The Votes are in for Round 21!

Apologies for not updating the Leaderboard for a few weeks. The good news is that after Round 21, Dusty still has a winning lead over Rance who is still 3 points ahead of Cotch. Following is Astbury, Lambert, Prestia, Grigg, Nankervis,  Riewoldt, and Nick Vlastuin rounding out the top 10.

Obviously related to Bingle, judging by the "logo". Also take off the 'gle' and reverse "bin" and what do you get? :)

    Bored!

Not a big enough brand for mine.

Why can't we get a sponsor like Apple?

You bring back memories with Black Sabbath. Many moons ago they played at Kooyong Tennis Stadium and I got a job as an usher, or at least I thought that's what I was there for. Instead, I was stationed inside the long cyclone wire fence that ran along Kooyong Rd, watching for people outside who may try to climb it and get in for free. Picture it if you will – several hundred restless fans on one side and, on the other, a lone figure resembling a skinny, unfit Caleb Daniels in a long white coat ... an emaciated, suburban goal umpire look-alike.

Half way through the concert, the fans began shaking the fence. Eventually it came down and they streamed in. And guess what? The first person into the stadium was me. I had no interest in receiving a bravery award – posthumously.

Towards the end of the concert, all us 'ushers' were told to stand in front of the stage, to stop fans jumping up. I was in front of one of the speaker banks – it was taller than the Rialto. With every note from the bass player, I was physically pushed back and forth, in sync with the speaker cones – Black Sabbath were loud. So loud in fact that their sound was not measured in decibels but in some other unit, as apparently, when Sabbath are playing, there aren't enough decibels to go round.

Maybe they don't give a rats about the RFC. Wish they did when Jobs was still alive. He always wore a black skivvy – would have looked better with a yellow sash across it.

hahaha gold GB... i hear you- i worked the big day out for about 7 years on the fence crew. basically the atf gang would lay out about 10 kms of fence and me and my crew would "tweak" it. like one year we were instructed to move 1.5 kms of it exactly 1 metre- to the other side of a 2 foot high fence round some of the cricket ovals, i think this was at princes park. and blacking it out- now that was tedious, 10 kms of black weedmat ringclipped to temporary fence panels so it looked good. not a simple task believe me! but like most menial gang labour you got up a rhythm and made the best of it.

then during the show we were on call for running repairs etc. our crew was pretty laid back, we'd be in a quiet spot for a little 420 and these intense hunted looking folk would come through the bushes and whatnot, then see us in our hi-viz and freak out. we'd just go "you're right guys, we don't care- best spot to jump the next one is over there" and wave a scoob in the general direction.

Was one of the sponsors I talked To the club about in my abortive La Mancha tilt.

    Tremendous partnership.
Rugby league figure Paul Harragon has been the marketing face for nib, which had little impact in Victoria.
Everything has changed for the better.
