The Votes are in for Round 21!

Apologies for not updating the Leaderboard for a few weeks. The good news is that after Round 21, Dusty still has a winning lead over Rance who is still 3 points ahead of Cotch. Following is Astbury, Lambert, Prestia, Grigg, Nankervis,  Riewoldt, and Nick Vlastuin rounding out the top 10.

I would hope such tactics would be met with 17 Richmond players repaying the perpetrators in kind, x10.

Pretty sure that tactic has been tried and failed anyway, and I'm confident Dusty won't bite after seeing how he dealt with that Brisbane pest.

Works well until @thebigricho comes out of the crowd and knocks out six of the opposition.

I felt we didn't protect Dusty enough in the Brisbane game and when he had to two tussles with the grub
the umpires were ready to ping Dusty , whistles at the ready to their credit they did give him a little lee way
but very little support from team mates

I was a bit miffed at the time , I know the balancing argument could be "he has to look after himself to a degree , it was just niggle and any effort from other could have escalated the situation and reports flowed"

but it was not dissimilar to game V Swans and they targeted Cotchin , knocked him over repeatedly , limited protection from players and zero from umps

they are now starting to pay frees for that off the ball stuff so keeping ones cool and the aggressors keep uping the ante until they lose it and give away a few frees , often game breaking

if our guys see him getting frustrated we must run a little interference with the niggler, he is a value asset that needs some protection

Scott Selwood and Cam Guthrie are both good nigglers and good runners....saw them both off.

I've seen a woman in the crowd whack one of our guys with an umbrella right on top of the head

as one the crowd , all the players and the umpires burst into laughter

it was the old Junction oval days

I'm pretty sure the "alternative tactics" Lyon is suggesting is exactly what Brisbane tried when we last played them and Dusty was BOG.

    Remember the attempted corky.
