Tbr can't help himself......
and there was me thinking I was the only one worried about the pea hearted one
Has anyone, ever seen them in the same room Vinsey?
Who is TBR that you talk of ?
Tbr. Dominating preseason lurking.
Yarran was training with the main squad on Friday and when did the Herald Scum become accurate?
Is that confirmed? Yarran will get a lot of pressure from the media and particularly Y&B fans. To have a fair chance to prove himself he at least needs to stay fit and healthy, no excuses then to prove his much debated selection.
Playing at the same time is one thing. Both consistently playing well at the same time is another. If they can't , and so far they haven't , then the asset becomes a liability. Competing for spots is definitely a good thing though.
Truth is I ain't pinning any hopes on them getting us to a Grand Final. McBean however ? Fingers crossed. From the little of him that I've seen he looks like he might be much better than both Vickery and Griffiths.
Classic Sash !
My initials are DB and Lids are BD....Symmetry !
My favorite number is 7 and if you subtract 4 ( the most successful tiger guernsey number ) the answer is 3...and that's Lids' number....Freaky !
Lid's father played one game for Carlton , the same amount that Adam Slater played for Richmond. He played for East Burwood as a kid and I played footy against them in juniors....Madness !
Lids came 3rd in Australia's Best Athlete comp and I came 3rd in the year 8 interschool marathon... and I went to Kyabram races once with the old man...Insanity !
So me and Lids are practically brothers !
And he probably will play in a premiership. Just not at Richmond.
Inter school marathon???? You?
Man, you couldn't run away from Alex Zanardi!
Very true. Takes me a half hour to catch my breath after putting the bins out these days.
And don't worry mate , you'll be pleased to hear that after my outstanding performance at interschool I was rightly chosen to represent the school at the Eastern Districts marathon , along with the two kids who fluked 1st and 2nd place ahead of me. I was confident of not only turning the tables on them but winning GOLD ! GOLD ! GOLD ! for my school.
Sadly I was quickly exposed worse than Swanny was last week. The dream was over after about 2kms.
Anyhow who's Zanardi ? I think I had a one of them with Coke at the pub last week ?
It's almost dejavu in regard to tall forwards.
Remembering back to when we had Roach and Taylor and couldn't work out how to incorporate them into the same lineup, and wound up letting Taylor go to the Magpies where he blossomed. The secret appears to be mobility, flexibility and mutual understanding. Riewoldt is one key and then which of Griffiths, Vickery and to a lesser extent at present McBean can work in with Jack the best.
Perhaps Jack is really, the vg 3rd forward tall option going forward and 2 of the others need to mature to become the class 1st and 2nd tall forwards.
Flexibilty/horses for courses with the opponents and weather always needs to be considered, 2nd and 3rd plan bs when something isnt working on a given day.
Former F1 driver who sadly lost both legs in a bad crash a few years ago....
I saw him running in one of the videos with the main group
Griff can play back, Vickery will ruck, so it all fits nicely.
Watch you talkin about, Griff was recruited as a forward for his marking, running and kicking skills. Putting him in the backline has been tried before and all it did was destroy his morale and he got injured. He's a forward, leave it that way, he can wander down back to plug a hole late in a tight game ala Benny Gale style but his primary job is in the forward line supporting Jack.
Oh yeh , now you say 'sadly' ? That's immediately after you used his disability as some sort of sick joke to insult my running capabilities.
Your hypocrisy knows no bounds.
Oh now you're joining in Red ? You're as bad as Vines !
I think we've had enough fun at the expense of poor old legless Bacardi don't you ?
Yeah, thought it was a bit tasteless. Went with it anyway...I reckon at least one person would've laughed.
Guilty Your Honor !
Haha a staple in all good NBA teams
