Is it true if Richmond beats Eddiewood next week it will be the clubs milestone of winning 1000 games?

I think this may be true, heard something like it on the radio.

Deledio > Judd ?
Tambling = Brownlow 2008 ?
Brown/Richo = Coleman 2005 ?

Yes, it will be our 1,000th VFL/AFL win.

By the way, heard on 3AW that Stafford will miss 1 or 2 weeks with his ankle.

I thought I heard TW say that it wasn't too bad and excpected him to either play next week or the week after at worst.

I don't want to get too ahead of myself but I think we will beat Collingwood EASILY this week.

Collingwood's confidence will be at rock bottom after being thumped by the Dockers. Also travelling back from Perth can't be good preparation. I think that may partly explain Carlton's insipid effort (playing interstate two out of the last four weeks).

Anyway this will be our 1000'th win (930 losses).

The house of pain will prevail, teams travelling back from perth loose.

Can't go in too ****y though, I'm sure TW will be making sure nobody anywhere near the team will be talking like that.

Analysing the teams though, it's hard to not give advantage to Richmond in every area. My only concern is that if Tarrant decides to put a bit of effort in on the day, he can be a pretty tough matchup.

Maybe , though if there is one player that Gas owns it is Tarrant so we should be ok on that front...

important 2 weeks ahead of a tough month
Collingwoods position on the ladder says it all
we now have to be professional and go in for the kill
then we have the wounded Lion we saw how good they can play (previous weekend) and we saw how poor they can play against the Hawks, that game has to loom as a winable road game.
the next month sees us play a number of the form teams from this year so we must make the most of the next two weeks and prepare well and work on those team strutures and plays

getting Collingwood on the back of a poor game in the West does tantilise , wouldn't a real big score line to next to zip be real sweet !

It was Malthouse who had a go at our game plan of attack after the Wizard Cup game they beat us in.
Now we have had 3 x 10 goal wins this year, all against valid contenders, it might be time for Uncle Mickey to compare his game plan against ours this weekend.

I for one have had a gutful of people saying "yeah but who did you beat". We flogged teams who wanted to win, we shut them down. ONly the really good sides win by 10 goals with any regularity. We are a valid top 4 side and when the confidence is fully up we will settle with the Cats and Saints, but first the Pies will become cannibals and eat some of their own humble pie this weekend.

Don't worry about the media and other fans, they're not going to give us any respect no matter what we achieve. I'm happy enough flying under the radar, letting people talk us down all they like. It's disappointing in a way when you read match reports that have more paragraphs on an Irish debutant than the whole Richmond team, but all that matters in the end is that we won and we won big.

For the last 3 years we've started well only to collapse and finish poorly so it's understandable people are hesitant to get on board. All we can do is just keep playing the way we have been and get the wins on the board.

the pies should come out fired up against us for 2 reasons.1 because they are playing us and they hate us and 2 because malthouse will be savage on them all week.as long as we keep things in perspective and not get ahead of ourselves we should have a good win.but expect a more competitive effort from the pies.

I'm not going to get ahead of myself, I'll just say that Tarrant doesn't kick many against us. And as for rebounding after a Malthouse spray, I don't think the Anzac Day Spray had any lasting effect.

I think that the skunks will make 5+ changes this week, with kids and tier 2 players coming in with nothing to lose. We'll win by 10-20 points in a hard-fought scrappy affair OR blow it out to beyond 50 pts.

I'll take either.

Tarant doesn't kick many against anyone. He is Richo without the body strength, heart and support of good forwards around him. I can't see him taking many marks in the F50.

For me biggest difference from (was it 2002 when we were 6 and 2?) last time we had a good start to the season is the magnitude of the 3 good wins. We were probably 6 and 2 with % of 97-101.

Proud advocate of #21. Don't [:-censore with Shane Tuck!

Most of all I'm interested in actually seeing who plays for the Pies this week, given

R Cole (ankle)
J Fraser (knee)
S Woewodin (back)
S Burns, J Cloke and C Morrison all copped a personal spray and hints that they would be dropped.

Add to that T Cloke pulling out late, and obviously all the other ongoing injuries the Pies have (Rocca, Buckley, Presti, etc etc etc).

Trankin - I reckon you're on the money re 5 changes, and I reckon it could go even higher!

Geez, I hope they show some faith in Jason Cloke cos if he plays, whoever he is on will kick 5 minimum!!! This guy is an absolute DUD!!!!

I seriously think we'll win this easier than the Blues game...the Pies are depleted with injury, coming back from Perth and are playing like we did last year!!!

Do they even have anyone to bring replace these people with? They've already promoted 2 rookies I believe this year. I'm expecting a Pagan-like cleanout at the end of the year at Collingwood.
