He's rated as a 15-25 pick so using one of our picks on him would be fine.
Yes but far better to use the 15 and 17 on draft picks and the bid on Naish comes in the 20s. Three good kids into the club would be a great result.

It's looking more and more likely that Naish won't get bid on before our picks. Hope so.

If they bid for Naish @ Pick 18 which is 985 points, we will be required to shell out 788 points for him.
Our Picks 51 & 52 are currently worth 505 points.
Only need to find another 280 odd points.
We would be looking to offload someone for a Pick in the early forties to get the Job done.
If it plays out this way we should definitely be in a position to acquire three young guns.

we traded our future 3rd for cats pick 53 this year

Obviously to get Naish later
We would now have picks 52,53,55 which add up to 686 and with the flat rate discount of 197, that equals 883 points.

So we have pick 21 or later covered.

Don't mind that as a strategy

Naish will use up one of the first three and we still have two other good picks to find some gems and we are after all recruiting geniuses

depends who we miss on with 15
I wanted Oscar Allen hope he is there at 17

I'm happy enough for the reigning premiers to take 3 top 25 picks to the draft without losing a single player to another club.

Would have been nice to improve our best 22 with some ready made talent but obviously the club is backing in our boys in for further natural development. We're screwed if Jack cops a big injury....

Biggest danger is dogs bidding on Naish @ 16. If not, then we'll get him for 20 or even better, 25.
