OK so leaving tomorrow morning on the big drive to Wagga to watch the women's and men's games this weekend, So going to do tomorrows player today and hopefully 1) I can find a computer and 2) I am sober enough to type over the weekend

Tomorrow will be just two weeks to go and Bachar Houli is next up #14

Bacher's DOB is 12 May 1988 so he will shortly turn 32. He is 180cm and 83kg. He has played 181 AFL games and kicked 42 goals. Averages 22.4 disposals which is elite. 2020 he averaged 27.8 which is elite but higher lol. He averages 2.5 tackles which is average

Dual premiership player and Life member of the Richmond Football Club

He was originally selected at #42 in the 2006 National Draft and came to Richmond at the #3 selection in the 2011 Pre-season draft. Originally from Spotswood Vic via Western U18 via Essendon

Bachar has been a bit of a whipping boy among Richmond supporters due to his perceived hesitation in some contests. However he gives us enormous run from the half back line and he is twice unlucky not to be awarded a Norm Smith medal. Going to miss him when he retires in the not too distant future.

13vdays to go and Jack Higgins is next up

Jack's DOB is 19 March 1999 so it will be his 21st birthday on our round 1 clash with Carlton. Can he get back door that game? Jack is 177cm and 78kg. He has played 33 games. Has kicked 24 career goals. Averages 16.4 disposals which is above average and 2.7 tackles. 4th in the 2018 Rising Star

Came to Richmond at pick #17 in the 2017 National Draft. He is originally from East Malvern Vic via Oakleigh U18.

Burst onto the scene in 2018 playing 20 games in 2018 and winning goal of the year. Started 2019 full of promise but something was off. Was down on his output from his debut year and was fumbling. Then he found out he had a brain bleed and needed not one but two lots of surgery.

Has made wonderful progress and played 1st Marsh series game. Low output but best thing was he was out there playing. Looking forward to seeing him in full recovery.

I am back on deck...just.... big big weekend in Wagga. Ate Too much, drank too much and got myself sunburnt. Long long drive spent about 18 hours driving there and back.

Anyhoo Saturday was 12 days to go and the big fella David Astbury is next up

David's DOB is the 26 February 1991 so he has just turned 29. He is 195cm and 96kg. He has played 129 games and has kicked 9 career goals. Averages 13.1 disposals and 1.3 tackles

Two time premiership player and life member of the Richmond Football Club.

He came to Richmond at pick #35 in the 2009 National Draft. He is from Tatyoon Vic via North Ballarat U18

Solid and reliable defender. Had his knockers early but he adjusted his play and now only takes the option with the less downside. Has the moniker Down the Line Dave as result. Loves to mark the ball and rarely gets beaten.

Sunday was 11 days to go and Jason Castagna is next up

Jason's DOB is 12 July 1996 so will be 24 in the middle of the season and he is only just reaching that most productive age. He is 181cm and 82kg. He has played 76 games and kicked 81 career goals (and 72 behinds but we wont go there). Averages 12.2 disposals and 2.9 tackles both average. However his stats for 2019 were all up on career averages and all in the above average category. Thinking this improvement will continue.

Two time premiership player and life member of the Richmond Football Club

He was selected at pick 29 in the 2015 Rookie Draft and elevated to the main list at the end of 2017. He is from Warrandyte Vic via Marcellin College Via Northern under18

Played probably his best game for Richmond in the 2019 Grand Final. He missed with 6 shots at goal but thinking if he had of converted most of those he would have pushed to the top of the Norm Smith voting

Monday we had 10 days to go and Shane Edwards is next

Shane's DOB is 25 October 1998 so he will be 31 for the entire season. He has played 255 games and kicked 161 career goals. He averages 17.2 disposals. 2019 average was 21.9 which is above average. He averages 2.9 tackles with his 3.1 2019 average regarded as elite. No surprise his career and 2019 handball averages are rated as elite.

Two time premiership player and Life Member of the Richmond Football Club

Shane came to Richmond at pick #26 in the 2006 National Draft. He is from Golden Grove SA via North Adelaide SANFL

Beautiful reader of the play and can pick the right option quickly and more importantly he can get the ball to that option in a blink of an eye. Captained the side in 2019 when we went through that injury period. At 31 is still going strong and hopefully he continues to play for a few more years yet.

The captain is up next with 9 days to go

Trent's DOB is 17 April 1990 so will turn 30 next month. He is 185cm 86kg. He has played 234 games and has kicked 126 goals. He averages 23.5 disposals which is above average and 3.9 tackles.

He has captained now for 154 (by my reckoning) and should go to the top of the most games captained in the near future.

Two time premiership player and two time premiership captain and life member of the Richmond Football club

Taken at pick #2 (thank you Carlton) in the 2007 National Draft. He hails from PEGS Vic via Northern U18

Trent is a Brownlow Medalist, All Australian, AFLCA Player of the year 2012 and Captained Victoria in this year's State of Origin

There is a special on Foxfooty on Thursday night and is a must see. Hardwick is crediting Cotchin with turning the club around and predicts he will go down as one of the all time greats of the club. Reckon he will stay involved in the club and will be a future CEO

And for today the #8 is up big jumping Jack Riewoldt

Jack's DOB is 31 October 1988 so he will be 31 for all of the 2020 season. He is 193cm and 92kg. He has played 262 AFL games the most of any current Richmond player. He has kicked 631 goals sitting 4th on the all time Richmond Goal Kicking list. He averages 12.5 disposals which is above average and also above average with tackles at 2.3. His 2.6 goals per game is elite.

Two time premiership player and Life Member of the Richmond Football Club

He has won the Coleman medal three times 2010,2012 and 2018. All Australian3 times 2010, 2015, 2018, Club Best and Fairest 2010 and 2018. International Rules rep 2010 and State rep 2020. Club leading goal kicker 2010,2011,2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018

Jack was taken at pick #13 in the 2006 National Draft. He comes from Clarence Tas via Tasmaina U18

To me is the best reader of player I have ever seen. Best Football brain. Hopefully with Lynch here he will be around for a couple more years and push his goal kicking tally over the 700 mark as well as get to 300 games. A career in media then beckons

Been searching for that photo of Jack standing on the fence on the victory lap after the 2019 GF with arms raised with the premiership cup in one hand. One of the best photos I have seen.

Wow what a ride with this Covid 19. Directions and meetings (by teleconference :D) by the minute.

OK so in the vain hope the game is played on Thursday we continue the count down

Saturday was 5 days to go and we are up to Jack Ross

Jack's DOB is 3 September 2000 so he will be 19 for most of the season. He is 187cm 85kg. He has played 7 games and kicked 1 goal. Averages 17.3 disposals which is said to be below average but for an 18 year last year that is a decent average. Tackles averaged 3.1 which is average. So a lot to work with here

Jack was selected at #43 in the 2018 National Draft. He hails from Waverley Hawks Vic via Caufield Grammar Vic via Oakleigh U18 Vic

Sunday was 4 days to go and up next is the great man himself Dustin Martin (might take a while to type all this :D)

Dustin was created 26 June 1991 so will turn 29 mid year. He is 187cm and 93 cement blocks heavy. He has toyed with opposition players 224 times and kicked 250 career goals. Surprisingly he is elite in disposals, kicks and total disposals. He is above elite in don't argues. He has low tackle numbers.

Two time premiership player and Life member of the Richmond Football Club

Brownlow Medalist, two time Norm Smith medalist, two time Gary Ayres medalist, two time Jack Dyer medalist, three time All Australian, AFLPA and AFLCA Player of the Year 2017

Drafted at pick #3 in the 2009 National Draft (thank you Melbourne) he is from Castlemaine Vic via Bendigo U18

Best player in the competition by a long way (except if you are the HUN Chief Sports reporter). Best player in finals. Approaching Royce Hart level of adulation.

And today we have Dylan Grimes

Dylan's DOB is 16 July 1991 so he will turn 29 mid year. He is 193cm and 90kg. Has played 151 games and kicked 3 goals!! Averages 11.6 disposals and 2.5 tackles

Two time premiership player and Life Member of the Richmond Football Club

Picked up in the 2010 Pre-season draft at #2 comes from Hurstbridge Vic via Northern U18

All Richmond supporters have known of Grimes ability but the wider AFL community has cottoned onto his superior stopping skills. Charlie Cameron lies awake at night scared of the shadows that could be hiding Grimes
