Dual premiership captain Trent Cotchin will lead Richmond’s AFL team in season 2020, with Jack Riewoldt to continue his role as vice captain.
The pair were voted into the leadership positions by their teammates and members of Richmond’s Football Department.
This will be Cotchin’s eighth season as Richmond’s skipper having led the group since 2013.
“Trent is an incredible person, player and leader, and we’re thrilled that he will again lead our AFL playing group in 2020,” Richmond’s General Manager – Football Performance, Tim Livingstone said.
“Jack has been a wonderful leader and support to Trent in recent years, and we look forward to that continuing this season.
“Trent and Jack will be supported by a group of senior players who are also exceptional leaders in their own right, and who continue to build the Club’s culture and environment.”
