a bit late for this but the result might be a good pointer

played at Casey , an open suburban ground , very windy

We had a 3 goal lead at 3/4 qtr time and won by a point

Did anyone see any of the game ?

Working off the reports of others
key points
we lost Graham early in the first and Weller at half time

also consider the number of players on duty with the firsts due to injuries

and Casey Demons played in the VFL GF last year

Bolton had 25 possessions and 11 tackles and widely considered BOG
Naish had another 20+ possession game and continuing a consistent season
RCD also got good no. possessions and continues to impress
Townsend was also very significant in this win and seems to be playing "above VFL level"
Plenty of others were getting favourable mentions ie(Garthwaite , Manadue, Soldo, Aarts …)

our depth has been tested with our run of injuries and the season is still young

so very pleasing to see plenty of younger players stepping up and covering for the loss of Lloyd, Miles, C Ellis & Stengle
plus all the others who are up in the AFL

This is the third year the VFL has been doing well and must be playing a part in keeping Punt rd a happy place
